In the second stage the cells of the foot get affected since there will not be any blood flow. This in turn causes the blood vessels to open up which leads to swelling of foot due to accumulation of fluid inside. There will be tingling sensation and sharp pain that would not go even after the foot is removed from water. For some people ulcers or blisters are formed in this stage which will eventually fall off exposing the underlying tissue. There will be severe discomfort with pain for 2-6 weeks but the foot can be cured completely with medications.

The Mariana Trench is the deepest, darkest portion of the ocean.  Its maximum-known depth is 10,911 meters, which is over 2000 meters deeper than Mount Everest is tall. Light only travels about 1000 meters into the ocean water, so more than 90% of the Mariana Trench exists in complete darkness.  This absence of light creates wild-looking animals that don’t seem to come from this world, so I thought it would be interesting to highlight some of the alien creatures here on the site.  I must admit, they all look a bit terrifying…

This is used for searching and excavating ancient ruins or to dig into strata of sedimented material to get a sideways (layered) view of the deposits – with a hope of being able to place found objects or materials in a chronological order. The advantage of this method is that it destroys only a small part of the site (those areas where the trenches, often arranged in a grid pattern, are located). However, this method also has the disadvantage of only revealing small slices of the whole volume, and modern archeological digs usually employ combination methods. [4]
